In support of the WGA strike

I never really understood the dynamics of the WGA until the recent strike. We all know Corp America is the money maker and most of us are just off to the side working hard for their money. After watching the videos and reading the blogs it dawned on me that I have been contributing to the "online" unfairness. I have watched videos/shows online before never knowing that the actors/writers/producers make nothing from it. Why in the world is this going on? They are the ones creating, acting, brainstorming, writing, editing...so why are the companies benefiting from all of the new media out there and not the people who make all of this happen? To be honest it doesn't surprise me that this is going on but it does just add to the fact that big companies benefit from everyone who works hard. More to follow...
